Labour leadership hustings
If you weren't standing yourself, which one of the other people standing would you vote for and why?
Ed Balls: That sounds like a roundabout way of asking me who my second preference is! People should make their own minds up. They're all good candidates but, if I hadn’t stood, who knows whether it would be just the same other four candidates to choose from.
Andy Burnham: My fellow candidates are all talented individuals but I am focusing on winning this contest. That is why I've spent the summer travelling the length and breadth of the country in a battle bus, talking to Party members and supporters, encouraging them to join my fight for a different kind of Labour Party and a different way of doing politics.
David Miliband: Ed, because he's my brother and I love him.
Ed Miliband: My brother David. I love him very much.
Diane Abbott: I would not like to choose between the four of them.
