5 tbsp double cream
5 Mars bars, chopped
125 g digestive biscuits, crushed
225 g butter, melted, enough to bind the biscuits together
- Combine the biscuits and the butter and use the mixture to line the base of a pastry tin or pie dish. Put in the fridge.
- Slowly melt the Mars Bars in a pan on the hob, stirring to keep them from burning.
- When melted, remove from the heat and stir in the cream.
- Pour over the biscuit base and put back into the fridge to chill.
Generic 'Mars Bars' work just as well as branded.
