Ingredients

  • 5 tbsp brown sugar heaped

  • 5 stalks rhubarb

  • 4 tbsp margarine heaped

  • 5 tbsp plain flour heaped

Method

  1. Wash then chop your rhubarb into 2 to 3cm chunks.
  2. Place in a pyrex bowl and sprinkle with the brown sugar then stir together.
  3. In another bowl mix the flour, 4 heaped dessert spoons of marg and the rest of your sugar. Rub mixture together with fingers until looks like bread crumbs.

Handy Hint

You can just keep mixing the crumble mixture with a spoon to avoid messy hands!

    Lovely seasonal pud, great with vanilla ice cream
