Ingredients

  • 4 vegetable stock cube

  • 1 bunch parsley

  • 2 celery stick

  • 10 slices bacon

  • 500g potatoes

  • 12 sausages

  • 3 carrot

  • 3 sprigs thyme

Method

  1. Peel and chop potatoes, carrots, celery, bacon, thyme and parsley.
  2. Brown sausages briefly in a frying pan.
  3. Place all the ingredients in a large saucepan and cover with hot water.
  4. Dissolve and add the stock cubes.
  5. Bring to the boil and then simmer until everything is cooked (usually an hour).

    This can not be the photo of this dish - obviously meat not sausages in the photo and also shows bell pepper (capsicum) which is not an ingredient!?! Still sounds like a winner, and I will be making it tonight!

    This was absolutely delicious. We love our one pots here and this did not disappoint. I added a couple more potatoes at the end for texture (and for DH who LOVES potatoes!) Definitely recommend this.
