  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 2 chicken breast, sliced

  • 1 tbsp tomato ketchup

  • 200ml chicken stock

  • 1 red onion, chopped

  • 1 red pepper, chopped

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 1 inch ginger, peeled and grated

  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 clove garlic, peeled and crushed

  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

  • 1 tbsp cornflour


  1. Combine garlic, ginger, stock, honey, ketchup, soy sauce and sesame oil in a bowl.
  2. Coat chicken in cornflour.
  3. Stir fry chicken and vegetables in a wok in hot vegetable oil until chicken is cooked and vegetables are softening.
  4. Add liquid mixture and bring to the boil. Simmer until thickened.
  5. Serve with noodles or rice and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
