1 tomato puree
1 bag pasta, spaghetti or pasta shapes
- Cook spaghetti/pasta in a pot of boiling water for 5-15 minutes depending on the amount recommended on the pack and once ready, drain the spaghetti/pasta and return it to the pan, set it back on the heat for 3 seconds and remove to a cold hob.
- Stir in tomato purée, a little at first then build up until spaghetti/pasta is a red colour but not matted with purée.
- Add a small handful of grated cheese to the spaghetti/pasta and mix well. Serve on a plate and add more cheese to the top. If serving a small child (4-12) snap spaghetti in half before cooking then continue to cut up into small pieces until small enough for a child to eat.
