Ingredients

  • 1 onion one small onion for every 3 handfuls of lentils

  • 1 red lentils whatever quantity you want to freeze

  • 1 pinch tumeric

Method

  1. Boil some lentils until soft.
  2. Fry an onion until it starts to golden.
  3. Blend the cooked lentils and onions.
  4. Add a pinch of tumeric and stir.
  5. Serve or freeze in cubes.

    Easy to make, added some greek yogurt as recommended by another poster. DS loved it.

    This works really well - I add loads of veg to turn it into a veggie lentil casserole as well.

    yum! We add some chopped spinach leaves and a dash of yogurt to serve.

    This is an easy way to give a baby protein when you start weaning. DD loved it.
