Ingredients

  • 75g self-raising flour

  • 1/2 tsp icing sugar

  • 2 tbsp light brown sugar

  • 75g low fat spread

  • 10g artificial sweteener

  • 1 eggs

  • 400g bramley apples peeled, cored and sliced thickly

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Method

  1. Simmer, covered, apples and juice over a medium heat until soft.
  2. Stir in sugar and spoon into 4 ramekin dishes.
  3. Preheat oven to 180C/160C fan/Gas Mark 4.
  4. Beat spread, sweetener and egg. Sift in flour and stir.
  5. Spoon this mixture over the apples and bake 25 minutes until golden and risen.
  6. Sift icing sugar over and serve warm.
