  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tsp salt

  • 300ml water

  • 500g strong bread flour

  • 7g yeast (fast acting)


<ol> <li>Put the flour, salt and yeast into a bowl. Add the oil and water.</li> <li>Mix well. Knead the dough until very smooth.</li> <li>Place in an oiled bowl and leave to rise for 1 hour or overnight in the fridge.</li> <li>Knock back the dough and make your shapes (plaits, cobs, cottage etc).</li> <li>Place them on an oiled baking sheet and leave to double in size.</li> <li>Cook at 220C for 20-30 minutes. Enjoy!</li> </ol>

    it will make a change to do this with LOs rather than the usual biscuit and cake recipes
