Ingredients

  • 1 onion

  • 1 tbsp tomato puree

  • 2 cloves garlic

  • 1 tin chopped tomatoes

  • 1 tbsp ketchup

Method

  1. Have a look in the veg/salad drawer of your fridge at the end of each week and see what is lurking there. Fry an onion with some garlic, then add any veg you want together with a tin of tomatoes, tomato puree and a dash of tomato ketchup. Blend it all together and store in little pots in the freezer.
  2. Then you have easy to use pasta sauce, packed with goodness, on hand at all times.

Handy Hint

Quorn mince is great to keep in the freezer - add the sauce to it and you will have bolognaise in around 5 minutes!
