Ingredients

  • 1 stock cube

  • 1/2 red onion

  • 1 mushroom

  • 4 eggs

  • 1 handful rice

  • 1 clove garlic

  • 250g beef, or lamb mince

  • 1 tbsp margarine or butter

  • 200g Greek yoghurt

  • 1 tub of sour cream

  • 250g beef or lamb mince

  • 1 handful breadcrumbs

Method

  1. Brown the mince with half a red onion and some mushrooms on some olive oil.
  2. Boil the eggs.
  3. Prepare the stock.
  4. Boil the rice in the stock.
  5. Chop the green beans and cook them in water with some garlic.
  6. Butter up the inside of a pyrex and put a little breadcrumb over the butter (so that it would soak up the fat).
  7. Put down a layer of green beans, then a layer of mince, then boiled eggs.
  8. Repeat this step.
  9. Pour sour creme on the top. Put in the oven on 200C for 30 minutes.

Handy Hint

You can add some red wine to the mince and onion.
We use home made stock.
You can put some breadcrumbs or grated cheese on the top of the dish, which can be grilled a bit in the end.
