Ingredients

  • 150g self-raising flour

  • 1 tbsp milk

  • 50g soft brown sugar

  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger

  • 1 eggs, beaten

  • 50g margarine

  • 50g sultanas

  • 1 pinch salt

Method

  1. Rub the margarine into all the dry ingredients.
  2. Add the sultanas and mix in the egg and milk.
  3. Pile into 10 heaps on a greased baking tray and bake for 15-20 minutes at 200C/Gas Mark 6.
