Ingredients

  • 125g butter

  • 3 tbsp golden syrup

  • 300g chocolate

  • 1 handful glace cherries optional

  • 1/2 pack mini marshmallows

  • 1 handful nuts chopped, optional

  • 1 handful icing sugar

  • 1 bag mint hot chocolate powder sachet

  • 250g biscuits rich tea, one pack

Method

<ol> <li>Put the biscuits in a bag and smash with a rolling pin - leave some larger pieces along with crumbs. Good for aggression!</li> <li>Melt the chocolate, syrup, butter and hot chocolate powder in a large saucepan.</li> <li>Pour the marshmallows, biscuits, nuts and cherries into the chocolate mix and stir.</li> <li>Pour into a baking tin lined with cling-film.</li> <li>Put in fridge for a couple of hours then coat with icing sugar. When hard cut into squares or bars.</li> </ol>

Handy Hint

<p>I find these best wrapped in individual pieces with cellophane or greaseproof paper and kept in the fridge. <br />As long as you have biscuits and marshmallows you can pretty much add anything else you want.</p>
