Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp crunchy peanut butter

  • 500g muesli

  • 1 tin condensed milk, (low fat if possible)

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 140C
  2. Line a small deep baking tin with parchment (my tin is approximately 10” x 8”)
  3. Put the muesli in a bowl and make a well in the center
  4. Add the tin of condensed milk and peanut butter
  5. Slightly combine them both before mixing fully into the muesli to ensure a good distribution of peanut butter
  6. Transfer to baking tray and using a metal spoon pack and flatten down the mixture into the tin so the top is smoothed over.
  7. Put in the oven for 1 hour until just golden on top.
  8. Cool down on wire rack and use a serrated knife to cut into 16 bars.

Handy Hint

They get better with age! keep in a sealed container and they go more chewy over time…
