1 pinch dried oregano
1 clove garlic, crushed
4 handfuls pasta
3 tins plum tomatoes
1 handful basil, roughly chopped
1 ball of mozzarella
- Fry the garlic gently in the oil. Meanwhile cut the sausage into chunks and then add. Fry for 2 mins together with a teaspoon of oregano.
- Roughly chop the tomatoes in the tin and add. Turn the heat down and simmer for 45 mins, stirring occasionally.
- Add a handful of chopped basil and chopped mozzarella and cook for 10 more mins.
- Meanwhile cook the pasta. Combine the two and voila.
Never buy chopped tomatoes - instead open the tin and cut the tomatoes in the tin.
