Slow cooker beef curry

  • 340g potato

  • 1 large red onion peeled and chopped

  • 1 jar rogan josh paste

  • 680g beef skirt or brisket


<ol> <li>Cut meat into small cubes. Chop onion and potatoes.</li> <li>Brown meat in small amount of olive oil, then add onion and potatoes and cook for 5 minutes.</li> <li>Transfer to slow cooker, add the jar of curry paste and slow cook for 6-8 hours on low, or overnight.</li> <li>Serve with naan bread and raita made with plain yoghurt, chopped cucumber and mint.</li> </ol>

Handy Hint

<p>Can be frozen when cooled - make when ingredients are on offer for a reasonable priced family dinner.</p>
