  • 1 onion chopped and cooked

  • 1 handful cheddar

  • 1 large baking potato

  • 1 eggs

  • 1 tbsp butter


<ol> <li>Mash the potatoes with lots of butter and a handful of grated cheese. Add the chopped, cooked onions.</li> <li>Spoon the potato out and shape them into burger-style portions.</li> <li>Add a slice of cheese on top.</li> <li>Glaze the cakes with the egg to seal it all together and put them in a frying pan with a dab of butter or under a hot grill for a couple of minutes until piping hot and the cheese on top is melted.</li> </ol>

Handy Hint

<p>You can add peas, cooked bacon bits, chopped pepper, etc to fill it out or add more veggies.</p>
