500g potato, cooked and left over
80g cheese, grated
1 handful onions, (or chives) cooked and chopped
500g cabbage, cooked and left over
- Preheat oven to 180C/Gas Mark 4.
- Mash potatoes and chop cabbage and mix together. Add to saucepan with butter and season.
- Stir over low heat until butter has melted and mixed in. Add onions or chives. Season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer to buttered baking dish and sprinkle with cheese. Heat for 15-20 minutes until cheese has browned.
Can use kale or parsnips as substitutes too.
