Ingredients

  • 2 tins chopped tomato

  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced

  • 100ml red wine

  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped

  • 4 lamb shanks

  • 1 sprig rosemary

Method

  1. Simply mix all the ingredients together in the slow cooker and then push your lamb shanks into the mixture.
  2. Cook on low for 8-9 hours.

Handy Hint

The meat will have produced a bit of fat during cooking so spoon off stew and discard prior to eating.
Ideal to serve with couscous or mash, and because it's salt free you can purée it for baby and all eat together - my 9 month old loved it and so does hubby!
