  • 1 sesame oil or vegetable oil

  • 1 soy sauce

  • 2 eggs

  • 195g basmati rice

  • 1 handful peas

  • 1 clove garlic

  • 1 handful prawns cooked and chilled

  • 1 carrot chopped

  • 2 spring onions chopped


<ol> <li>Cook the rice in plenty of boiling water then drain and rinse with boiling water.</li> <li>Scramble the eggs and set aside.</li> <li>Heat the oil in a wok or frying pan, add the carrot and garlic and stir fry until carrots soft.</li> <li>Add the rest of the ingredients.</li> <li>Check the seasoning and serve.</li> </ol>

Handy Hint

<p>You can also add chicken or other meat/veg if you like. <br />Stir it all together with two wooden spoons for ease. Put stock in the rice water for extra flavour.</p>
