Ingredients

  • 1 onion, finely chopped

  • 175ml vegetable oil

  • 2 tbsp fresh mint, chopped

  • 500g minced lamb

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped

  • 2 slices stale bread, soaked in water

  • 75g plain flour

  • 1 egg

Method

  1. Squeeze out excess water from the soaked bread.
  2. Combine all the ingredients and mix well.
  3. Make small balls and roll them lightly in the flour.
  4. Fry in hot oil for 3 minutes until golden all over.
