  • 1 jar jam

  • 1 packet of shortcrust pastry (or make your own)


<ol> <li>Roll out the pastry and cut out the circles.</li> <li>Put pastry into baking tray.</li> <li>Put dollop of jam into cases.</li> <li>Put tarts into oven at 190C/Gas Mark 5 for about 20 mins.</li> <li>Leave to cool.</li> </ol>

Handy Hint

<p>Don't overfill the cases as the jam will bubble over and it's a nightmare to get off.</p>

    I keep a block of shortcrust pastry in the freezer for rainy days, just take it out the night before you know it's going to be another rainy (or poorly) day indoors.
