Ingredients

  • 1 onion, diced

  • 1 bottle ginger beer

  • 3 carrot, peeled and chopped

  • 1 tsp gravy granules

  • 1 handful mushrooms, sliced

  • 500g beef, diced

Method

  1. Chuck all ingredients in slow cooker for eight hours.
  2. Serve with herby dumplngs for these cold winter nghts!

Handy Hint

I use Franks ginger beer. It is a quid a bottle in bargain booze.

    I got a bottle of Ginger Beer for 49p in Morrisons! Anyway I tried this recipe as I thought it would make a nice change from the usual red wine, stout, ale type recipes but I found it quite sweet. It was tasty but I'm not sure I would make it again.
