Soy and honey chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp runny honey

  • 1 bulb ginger, crushed (around 1cm worth)

  • 1/2 bottles soy sauce

  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed

  • 8 chicken thigh, trimmed of fat

Method

  1. Mix all ingredients together, pour over chicken in an air tight container.
  2. Shake container and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  3. Place the chicken skin side down in an oven proof dish and place in the oven at 160 for half an hour.
  4. Flip the chicken skin side up and cook for a further 20/30 mins.

Handy Hint

Prepare the chicken in the morning and leave it in the fridge all day while your at work, then pop it straight in the oven when you get home.
