Ingredients

  • 1 pint chicken stock, boilling

  • 1 parsnips, sliced thickly

  • 1 turnip, cubed

  • 1 pinch thyme

  • 2 potatoes, peeled and cubed

  • 1 leeks, sliced

  • 2 carrot, sliced thickly

  • 1 large chicken breasts

  • 1 handful vegetables, chopped

  • 1 pinch rosemary

Method

  1. Put the vegetables, chicken and stock into a large pan, season, bring to the boil then simmer gently for 45 minutes, or until all vegetables are soft.
  2. The chicken can then be lifted out, cut into bite-sized pieces, or the whole thing can be pureed for babies.
  3. Serve with fresh brown bread or a baked potato.
