  • 9oz caster sugar

  • 6oz syrup

  • 15oz oats

  • 9oz butter


<ol> <li>Melt the butter, syrup and sugar in a pan.</li> <li>Remove from heat, stir in oats.</li> <li>Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper and spoon the mixture onto it.</li> <li>Bake in the oven at 180C for 30 mins, until golden brown.</li> </ol>

Handy Hint

<p>Mark the flapjack into slices while it's still warm to make it easier to break up.</p>

    In grams the recipe asks for 250g butter, 250g sugar, 170g syrup. 430g oats. I put in approximate amounts and used 3 tablespoons of syrup as that&#39;s what had left. They&#39;re fine.... maybe a little greasy so I&#39;d probably use less butter next time.
