Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp honey

  • 3 tbsp sunflower oil

  • 100g pecan halves

  • 100g brazil nuts halved

  • 100g flaked almonds

  • 125ml maple syrup

  • 300g rolled oats

  • 50g pumpkin seeds

  • 4 tbsp sesame seeds

  • 50g sunflower seeds

  • 100g raisins

Method

  1. Heat the oven to 150C/130C fan/Gas Mark 2 and line two baking trays with greaseproof paper.
  2. Mix the oil, honey and maple syrup in a large bowl. Add all the remaining ingredients except the raisins and mix well.
  3. Spread the mixture onto the baking trays. Bake for 15 mins then stir it up and re-spread. Bake for a further 10-15 mins until golden brown.
  4. Remove the granola, still on the greaseproof paper, from the trays and place on your worktop to cool. Once cool, add the raisins and enjoy!

Handy Hint

Full of energy boosting ingredients, dead easy to make and it tastes wonderful. Just make sure you hide it from the rest of the family… it’s definitely too good for kids!
