  • 1lb golden syrup

  • 9oz dried fruit eg apricots

  • 18oz porridge oats

  • 7.5oz margarine


<ol> <li>Melt the margarine and syrup in a large saucepan.</li> <li>Leave to cool.</li> <li>Add oats and fruit, mix well.</li> <li>Place in dish approx 9&rdquo; square. Put in oven for 12 minutes at 180C until golden.</li> <li>Mark into squares whilst still warm, allow to cool and cut along marks into squares.</li> </ol>
