Ingredients

  • 1 pinch salt and pepper

  • 175g cheddar, grated

  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise, (to bind)

  • 750g chicken, minced

  • 1 eggs, beaten

  • 1 clove garlic

  • 175g breadcrumbs

  • 1 bowl fine toast breadcrumbs, (to coat the nuggets)

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180C.
  2. Mix all ingredients up to and including salt and pepper together.
  3. Form into walnut-sized nuggets and roll them in beaten egg and then in toasted breadcrumbs.
  4. You can freeze them now if you want to.
  5. If cooking now, place on greased baking sheet and cook for about 20 minutes (45 minutes if frozen).

Handy Hint

They don't take long to make and you can freeze them. They are delicious too!
