Ingredients

  • 2 egg yolk

  • 2 tsp mixed spice

  • 2-3 tbsp honey

  • 100ml skimmed milk

  • 200g porridge oats

  • 50g dates, chopped

  • 25g walnuts, chopped

Method

  1. Mix the oats, dates or raisins, walnuts and spices thoroughly.
  2. Add the honey, milk and egg yolks.
  3. Mix thoroughly put on a baking tin 2-3cm deep.
  4. Bake for 20-30 minutes until set, remove, cool and slice.
