  • 100g sugar

  • 200g dark chocolate

  • 1 eggs

  • 250g peeled nuts

  • 120g rich-tea biscuits

  1. Break the chocolate into pieces, add a few teaspoons of water and put it in a bowl to melt over a pot of hot water.
  2. Add the sugar and when it has melted add the egg, the biscuits roughly broken into pieces, and the ground nuts stirring well always over a source of heat.
  3. Pour the mixture onto a sheet of baking paper and with the help of the paper itself, shape it well like a salami. Press it well so it's compact and roll it up tightly.
  4. Put in the fridge for three hours.
  5. Take the paper off and tie with cookery string to resemble salami.

Handy Hint

A straightforward and quick recipe. It looks like a real salami but it is all made with chocolate, nuts and biscuits.
