  • 1 handful cheddar, grated

  • 2 slices bread

  • 2 eggs


  1. Lay 2 slices bread on a baking tray, sprinkle some grated cheese on top.
  2. Separate the egg yolks and put one egg yolk on top of each slice of bread.
  3. Whisk the egg whites until they make soft peaks. Cover the egg and cheese with the egg whites and smooth over.
  4. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes at around 200C, brown under the grill if required.

Handy Hint

Serve with ketchup for a tasty brunch or lunch dish that adults and kids will love!
