  • 3 tbsp golden syrup

  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

  • 4oz chocolate (preferably dark but milk is OK)

  • 8oz digestive biscuits

  • 4oz butter

  • 2oz raisins


<ol> <li>Butter a sandwich tin, ready to use.</li> <li>Crush biscuits, melt butter and syrup, add cocoa and raisins, stir into biscuit mix.</li> <li>Spoon into tin and press firmly. Melt choc spread over the biscuit base and chill until set.</li> <li>Slice up and enjoy.</li> </ol>

Handy Hint

<p>Don't crush biscuits up too much, it's nice to have a few larger bits.</p>
