Ingredients

  • 1 onion, peeled

  • 1/2 tomato puree

  • 2 tins chopped tomato

  • 1 tsp paprika, (to taste)

  • 1 pinch mixed herbs, (to taste)

  • 7 button mushrooms

  • 8 sausages, (Cumberlands are good for added spice)

  • 1 carrot, peeled

  • 1 splash Worcestershire sauce, (to taste)

Method

  1. Grill (or cook however you prefer) the sausages.
  2. Chop the onions up however you prefer and sautee in a saucepan until softened. Add the mushrooms and carrots and soften also.
  3. Add the sausages and sufficient tomato puree to cover all the ingredients.
  4. Add the two cans of canned tomatoes (drain off some, but not all of the juice first).
  5. Season to taste and add mixed herbs paprika and or Worcester sauce for a slight kick.
  6. Heat through and serve with pasta.
