  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1/2 tsp caster sugar

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 4fl oz water (hot to the touch)

  • 1 tsp quick yeast

  • 6oz plain flour


<ol> <li>Pre-heat the oven to 230C, Gas Mark 8.</li> <li>Sift flour, salt, yeast, sugar into a bowl.</li> <li>Make a well in centre and add olive oil and the hand hot water. Mix together to form a dough, adding more water/flour if neccessary.</li> <li>Transfer to a floured board and knead for 5 mins.</li> <li>Put to one side covered in lightly oiled clingfilm and leave for about 1 hour. The dough should have roughly doubled in size.</li> <li>Knead the air out of the dough and divide into 2 pieces. Roll into pizza shapes on a baking tray and add your favourite toppings</li> <li>Bake in the oven for about 10/12 mins</li> </ol>
