  • 1 black pepper to taste

  • 1 handful ham chopped

  • 1 splash sesame oil

  • 1 splash soy sauce

  • 1 handful peas or sweetcorn, defrosted

  • 1 carrot coarsley grated

  • 1 splash mirin

  • 140g cooked rice (approx)


<ol> <li>In a hot wok, stir fry the rice with the peas and sweetcorn quickly, then add the grated carrot and ham.</li> <li>Stir for a couple of minutes, then crack in one egg and stir like crazy.</li> <li>When it's all heated through and the egg is cooked, shake in some sesame oil, mirin, soy sauce and a grind of black pepper.</li> </ol>
