  • 1/4 onion

  • 8oz potato

  • 2 tomatoes

  • 1 pinch mixed herbs

  • 4oz lean beef

  • 1 tbsp ketchup

  • 2oz mushrooms

  • 230ml water


<ol> <li>Make a cut in the tomato and put in boiling water for a minute so its easy to peel.</li> <li>When it cools, peel it, remove the seeds and chop it up.</li> <li>Finely chop onion and potato and mushrooms.</li> <li>Fry beef for 5 minutes, add onion and potato and mushrooms and cook for 3 minutes.</li> <li>Add the water, ketchup, chopped tomato and herbs. Bring to boil then reduce heat and simmer for 40 minutes.</li> <li>Process until smooth.</li> </ol>

Handy Hint

<p>use a tiny bit of olive oil and reduced salt/sugar ketchup</p>
