Easy chicken tikka

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 4 tbsp chicken tikka paste, or whatever curry paste suits your taste

  • 2 tsp minced garlic

  • 1 tsp ground cumin

  • 2 tsp minced ginger

  • 4 tbsp Greek yoghurt

  • 12 chicken thigh, or breasts/pieces to suit

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice


  1. Mix lemon, cumin and salt and spread over the chicken.
  2. Mix ginger, garlic and yoghurt. Pour this over the chicken and leave to marinade.
  3. Place in the oven until cooked through, around 45 minutes depending on your choice of meat.

Handy Hint

Recipe says to grill but I do them in oven. (I mix all the ingredients and marinade in one step).
