Holly Webb lives in Berkshire with her husband, children and three cats. She started writing while working as a children's books editor. As well as her books for Stripes Publishing, Holly has written The Clever Little Kitten for World Book Day and a sequel to The Secret Garden.

Liz Pichon is a hugely popular author and illustrator, best known for her award­-winning series Tom Gates. The series began in 2011 with The Brilliant World of Tom Gates, which won the Roald Dahl Funny Prize, the Best Book for Young Readers category of the Red House Children's Book Award, and the Best Fiction for 5­-12-­year-­olds category of the Waterstones Children's Book Prize. Her fourth book, Tom Gates: Genius Ideas (mostly), won the Blue Peter Book Award 2013 and was shortlisted for the Specsavers National Book Awards' Children's Book of the Year 2012.

Andy Stanton studied English at Oxford but they kicked him out. He is best‐known for the hilarious and much‐loved Mr Gum books, which are published in 34 countries worldwide in over 30 languages. The series has won numerous awards, including the inaugural Roald Dahl Funny Prize, the Red House Children's Book Award and two Blue Peter Book Awards.

Oliver Jeffers graduated from The University of Ulster in 2001 with First Class honours. His outstanding talent has been recognised by several high- profile awards, including the Nestle Children’s Book Prize Gold award. ‘Lost and Found’ animation was broadcast on channel 4. Oliver lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
