    "Great family car"

We have a 58 plate petrol Style model. I enjoy driving it, it's easy enough to park and I find that it handles well. Easily enough space for two adults and two DC in car seats, although we couldn't fit a third passenger in the back with or without a car seat (I've tried). Loads of boot space to fit a folded pushchair (Bee+), a weekly food shop and an assortment of junk. Leg room is fairly decent for both front and rear passengers. A tank of petrol gets me about 340 miles driving around town with a few longer drives mixed in.

The interior is fairly basic but I'm not too fussed about that. I've managed to break the radio somehow so need to get that looked at.

We have had our Ford Focus for many years now, and it's very reliable - done 120,000 miles so far and still going strong. It's perfectly comfortable to drive. Everyone said when DD1 came along that we'd need a bigger car - nope. Then they said the same when DD2 came - nope, still happy with the Focus. We use a roof box once or twice a year, but the rest of the time the boot is absolutely fine for shopping, a pushchair etc.

    "A Roomy Ride!"

My Ford Focus Zetec 1.8L is a superb family car with great road handling. It's extremely spacious (it can accommodate five adults with good head and leg room, even in the rear) and the generous boot space makes it great for shopping and several large suitcases. Every journey we've made has been in absolute comfort. Plus, with limited engine and road noise, my two small children and 5 month old baby fall easily to sleep on long trips - money can't buy that kind of stress relief!
I also love the numerous storage compartments. Even the armrest gas a cubbyhole. Great for wet wipes, bottles, dummies and toys!
But most of all I love the rear parking sensors. They were invented with me in mind and make parking in tight spaces a doddle.

Reliable, practical but not without some style, this car works perfectly for local and family needs. It is reasonably economical, has plenty of boot space and is comfortable. I also use it for work and clock up a lot of miles that way and it is perfect for the motorway/commuting. The interior is designed so that everything is within easy reach in terms of controls and cd/radia. Only a couple of negatives: the lid on the compartment between the passanger/drive seat can cause injury if you are not careful and the cup holder needs to be deeper and placed further forwards for easy reach.
