Bought an older (01) version of this second hand as needed the 4x4 ability and reliabilty to get me through water, mud and icy conditions in the countryside to see to dependant animals. Even without folding or removing the back seats it has loads room for my two dogs ( collie and GSD) as well as boxes of gear or shopping etc. I like the comfort of the seats and being that little higher off the road ...but its not an "in your face" 4x4.
The dials being in the centre I though initially would be "wierd" but I actually rather like it now as I can see everything without the steering wheel blocking part of the view as in other cars.
It has been a smooth and reliable drive (only one minor problem with sensor / CAT) and if the MPG had been a bit better it would have had another star.

I love this car. We bought it second hand when I was pregnant with DC1 and it has been fantastic. It always starts, has some great storage and looks good too. Ours is a petrol 2 litre and I did expect a bit more kick but apart from that, I would recommend it. You can fit an infant/young child seat plus 2 booster seats in the back, it is a bit of a squeeze but it works. The boot is huge and is flat (without a lip) so perfect for lifting in pushchairs, washing machines (that's right!) and for changing nappies whilst out. I would definitely buy it again when updating our car.
