Ford aftersales extras offered free to all owners
Ford has launched a set of free aftersales services for all owners of Ford cars, regardless of the vehicle's age or mileage.
Ford's 'BlueService' includes a free electronic car health check for any Ford car and, for Ford owners who have their cars serviced at a Ford garage, a year's free roadside assistance. Run in partnership with the AA, this is the same roadside assistance provided with any brand-new Ford car. It includes removal of your car to the nearest Ford repairer or other chosen destination if the problem can't be fixed on the spot by a Ford mechanic (with repatriation of the car to the UK if you break down in mainland Europe); a short-term courtesy car or B&B accommodation is provided if necessary while you wait for your car to be repaired.
The health check, called 'eCHECK', alerts owners to any upcoming or urgent repairs required. Also included in BlueService is access to Ford's new 24-hour 'One Call' helpline, which handles all customer enquiries, from roadside assistance call-outs to technical queries and production information. The helpline is part of Ford's aim to make life as convenient as possible for owners of its cars.
One Call also takes calls for Ford Accident Management, another part of BlueService open to all Ford owners, which manages the whole insurance-claim process after an accident, including repair of the car at a Ford Accident Repair Centre and provision of a courtesy car while the work takes place.
The accident-management service – as well as the other helpline services – is available to any Ford owner, regardless of whether they have ever had their car serviced at a Ford dealer.
BlueService also incorporates an online MoT test and service booking system for owners, at www.ford.co.uk/OSB.
The 'One Call' helpline can be reached on 020 3564 4444.
