Autobiography by Morrissey
"Don’t leave it all unsaid, somewhere in the wasteland of your head oh."
It's little surprise that Morrissey's autobiography has already created hype and a truckload of mixed reviews. But no-one can argue with the fact that Morrissey's autobiography has been deemed great enough to be published as a Penguin Classic and copies have been flying off the shelves since publication.
It's long (almost 500 pages) and heaven knows he certainly can be miserable, but Morrissey's sardonic humour and poetic prose glimmers throughout. A marvellous tome for musos of the '80s and '90s - along with a bunch of gladioli, perhaps?
