The Dinosaur That Pooped The Past
This is the third book in the hilarious series by Tom Fletcher and Dougie Poynter, and it’ll make your little ones (and maybe you) laugh your socks off.
When Danny and Dino accidently go back through history on a time-travelling swing, they meet some new dino friends. But soon there's a rumbling noise; it's a volcano about to erupt! Can Dinosaur save the day by pooping them back to the future?
This is a hysterical historical adventure written by our favourite McFly boys - a treat for you and your DC.
Design a dino competition
It's time to get your creative caps on and let your DC's imagination run wild!
To celebrate the release of The Dinosaur That Pooped The Past, we're asking children to create their very own dinosaur and then show us an adventure that they've shared.
Will he be a pooping dinosaur? Will she be a superhero dinosaur? Will he be made of play-doh or a cut from cardboard? We want to see pictures of your special dino on an adventure with you. He could be doing the school run, accompanying your weekly shop, or battling rubber ducks at bath time. Post your pictures here.
We're on the look out for the best dinosaurs in town and the lucky winner will receive £100 worth of Random House books and a signed copy of The Dinosaur That Pooped The Past, courtesy of Random House Children's Books.

About the authors
Dougie Poynter is fascinated by reptiles, Tom Fletcher loves space, and they have a shared obsession with poop!
After writing songs together for nine years in the band McFly, they wrote this book in the same way that they write their song lyrics.
Tom and Dougie say: 'We absolutely love children's fiction and have a passion for writing. We constantly come up with ridiculous ideas and can't quite believe that this one is becoming a reality.
We spend hours in book shops when we're on tour finding inspiration from all kinds of books but more often than not we find ourselves in the kids picture book section getting funny looks from parents and staff.
We both know that as kids we would have loved this book and so we hope that when children and parents read it they laugh as much as we did when we wrote it.'
This giveaway closes at midday, Monday 25 August so apply now.
