Giveaway: Hank Zipzer, by Henry Winkler and Lin Oliver

hank_zipzerMarch's children's book club includes Hank Zipzer: The Curtain Went Up, My Trousers Fell Down, by Henry Winkler (aka The Fonz!) and Lin Oliver.

12-year-old Henry 'Hank' Zipzer is smart and resourceful, and he has dyslexia. When problems arise at school he deals with them in unconventional ways – putting him on a direct collision course with his teachers and parents. But Hank always remains positive and convinced that the next big plan will deliver – after all, tomorrow is another day!

In The Curtain Went Up, My Trousers Fell Down, Hank is playing the King of Siam in the school play, but a costume disaster on opening night threatens the whole show. Can best friends, Ashley and Frankie, save the day?

The semi-autobiographical Hank Zipzer series recounts Henry Winkler's own experiences growing up with dyslexia. They promote the importance of friendship and family, with equal measures of humour and heart. Perfect for even the most reluctant readers, aged seven and up.
