The Shape of My Heart
Our February children's picture book of the month is The Shape of My Heart by Mark Sperring and Alys Paterson.
Shapes are all around us – on the ground, in the sky and everywhere in between. Can you see lots of shapes? No? Then take a closer look in this wonderfully tender story about the shape of something very special – love.
Children will love spotting familiar shapes on each and every page. With a warm story and bright illustrations, The Shape of My Heart is the perfect book to share with any child.
Take a peek at some of the things reviewers have been saying about The Shape of My Heart:
"A world of loveliness is presented in bursts of vivid colour, fizzing firework-like across the page." Junior
"Takes geometry and turns it into an exciting and intriguing multi-sensory exploration of scenes from every child's life." Teach Nursery
