DH has had the week off work so been doing lots of family stuff and chilling out more. Already on CD10 so hoping OV comes before day 18 which it was last month. Blood tests due this cycle anyway.

Another thread - my how time flies when you aren't the one conceiving . I think I will be oving tomorrow so must fit in a bit of action before heading off to Chicago for 4 days to visit my best friend.

Just want to ask your honest opinion - had ectopic 8 years, had utero-salpingogram 4 years ago which showed that remaining tube was blocked - dye did not flow. Have chosen not to have further treatment BUT has anyone ever heard of tubes unblocking on their own or any herbal/ homeopathy that COULD help? Just can't quite accept its never gonna happen.

Oh well never got to graduate on my own thread - maybe this one will be lucky for me!

I am on CD10 like you futurity, so here goes... I'm feeling lucky this month fingers crossed

Feel a bit in limbo as didn't get round to buying an OPK so guessing a bit this month! Temps have not indicated ov yet but expect they will in next couple of days (hopefully). Did something slightly different this month by helping dh to 'clear out' possible old sperm (IYKWIM!!) before starting bding seeing as we don't have regular sex (dh works nights) and therefore there may well be slow wrigglers which is perhaps why I'm not getting pg. Might be complete c**p, but worth a go I suppose! Currently on CD14 and last cycle was 29 days so must be getting close!

Must be about DPO6 right now. If it happens it happens, if i ever get pregnant will not know what to do with myself! Moving house next week so hopefully this will keep my mind off the 2WW.
Oh, and worse still, damn progesterone gives you PG symptoms!

Hi again. I am still ttc - but bit like you Bluestar, Dh works nights and I work days and am knackered anyway. Want baby but we can't seem to get it together at the right time...!!! AAArgh.
Anyway hoping to get lucky soon. Have to nab him at the weekend - ov due tomorrow. What about this sperm? I am intrigued - didn't know about that!!

All I read somewhere is that if sperm isn't 'released' often, the sperm that is available is older and probably not as powerful. Therefore you need to get new sperm 'brewing' which should be stronger if that all makes sense? Which is why they always say that regular sex, at least twice a week, always ensures there is plenty of fresh sperm available. So for those of us that can't manage this all the time, there may not be really healthy sperm available which could hinder the chances of pregnancy I suppose.

I 'assisted' dh on Tues, Wed & Thurs we bd and today my temp indicates ov. However I have never (in many months of trying) actually bd on day that temp rose so I plan to bd today in case it increases my chances.

1, sore boobs
2, gone right off fags, makes me feel sick
3, BAD mood swings, just like PMT

Am trying not to read too much into it, but as you all know that is very hard

Hi all not a lot to report really - now on CD37 (and usual for me is only about 21), spotting stopped last weekend, but still testing negative. Can't believe I'm actually sying this - but I really want AF to arrive now so we can at least draw a line under this weird cycle and get on with the next, hopefully more normal, one.

on the sperm thing - I read that you should try not to be bding with sperm over 5-7 days old IYKWIM - well for the best possible chances anyhow. Good luck you all.

well AF is due tomorrow. i feel oddly tired and achey today, not normal. boobs hurt and feel slightly nausous. but i also have a headache. i dont want to get too excited, as i have also broken out in my pre-period spots on my chin and forehead.

I'm back, funeral was as fraught as I thought ...

On the matter of sperm, you are right that it starts to lose its 'sparkiness' it is left for as little as 3-4 days. It starts to break itself down. The doc at the hospital told us that an ejaculation every other day is best. More often than that (i.e every day, more than once a day) and there is not enough time to get mature sperm through. A sperms life-cyce I am sure is about 72 days from beginning to end. i.e when we had the vasectomey reversal they told us that we needed time for it to 'brew up'! Anyway, stick to the every other day theory!

I've still got no AF, painful (not sore) boobs still, period pains (but in the middle, not either side) and that's about it ... did a test the other day which was a BFN (as usual!).

Still, we'll keep on keeping on I spose.

Feel frustrated today as thought I'd ov'd as had 2 days of my usual post-ov temps but today it dropped slightly to below my coverline and therefore FF is showing a dotted line. Guess will have to see what temp tomorrow brings.

BeckiF, where do you go from here then? Do you have to wait until af turns up or that you could actually be pregnant? And I think I feel frustrated, must be murder for you.

Well bluestar it's just a waiting game. I've got ivf lined up as soon as I'm ready and have had since lasst Nvember. I supposed to be losing weight but since last November my granddad died then my Nanna and I've been poorly. All excuses I guess, but to me valid ones. I may just try a course of IVF and see what happens. In the interim I keep thinking is THIS twinge a sign, is THAT ache a sign, are my boods bigger? Veinier? Well yes they are but then they do that sometimes. In the meantime my weight stays as it is and the excess facial/chest hair problem continues....it's hard to feel positive when you feel as though you are slowly turning into a man .... Homer Simpson!!

I'm on CD 14 and no sign of OV so looks like it will be another day 18 or higher for me so no joy for me this month I expect. I know my stupid body so well that I can write off a month as soon as I know that OV will be too late to allow me conceive. Anyway..blood tests on around CD 25 so at least I can get some answers..hopefully. What got to me earlier was thinking about last month when I had a possible implantation dip on my chart only for AF to show up again. Also thought that it would be possible for blood tests to show pregnancy this month only for s*dding AF to turn up before it had a chance to stick. I HATE AF!! Phew..got that out of my system!

Am DPO10 today. No symptoms at all. Have had the flu for a while now which has been a blessing as i have not been well enough to worry about every little change/cramp in my body.
Am not going to test ,will just wait. Every cycle has been the same for sooooo long, and ending in BFN.

We need a 'lift me up'. Anyone got a good joke?
