Chip's blanket will be handed over to her this week. Photos of the finished blanket can be seen here on Flickr

We have also just started a Facebook page for the WoollyHugs here

Many thanks to all involved with this blanket. We hope that it may bring comfort to Chipmonkey and her family.

Thanks

Everyone has done amazingly well, the squares are absolutely beautiful, people are so clever! Thank you to all the lovely donors too. And a very big thank you to our Knotty for the tremendous amount of dedication and hard work she has put in to this, working out how the eclectic mix of squares and gorgeous colours fit best together and then in hooking it into this final glorious blanket

We are sending a very big woolly hug to Chipmonkey with a lot of love X
Xx

There are some absolutely stunning squares on the blanket: very gifted people.

The lovely folks who donated wool have also made this possible and are a vital part of the blankets. So a huge thanks to them , as well as to the crafters who did wonders with their wool.

Chip, you may have to wrestle it off Pistey first! I'm handing it over to her tomorrow for its final journey.

Thank your for the PM. I made my squares under my old user name.

The blanket is amazing. A huge thank you got those who organised and coordinated it. You have done something incredible.

I can't get over the variety and quality of the squares.

Well done everyone

Thank you for the PM, Knotty (and you Pistey for the link via the other thread too)
It is a thing of joy and beauty forever and I'm glad chipmonkey likes it - hope she likes it even more in RL when she gets hold of it.

Much though the need for these blankets upsets me, I'm very proud to be a part of them and Thanks to DickSwiveller'sTidyWife this time for her work in crafting my wool into beautiful squares, as well as to Knotty of course for putting it all together Thanks
