Is it Bob do you think? Was he called bob?

oh dear

I was watching a youtube re the mumsnet secret santa, and this also appeared on the search results.

Sunnywithachanceofshowers Fri 07-Dec-12 23:32:19

He's a bit of a tit, isn't he. Gah.

NormaStanleyFletcher Fri 07-Dec-12 23:37:07

Can I suggest that you are entirely right apart from the 'a bit of'

NormaStanleyFletcher Fri 07-Dec-12 23:38:25

and also, to be fair, tits are warm and have a use, so not a tit really - that would be unfair to tits

BillyBollyBrandy Fri 07-Dec-12 23:40:17

Blimey, Olivia's changed

BOFingSanta Fri 07-Dec-12 23:40:17

Yes, I think it was Bob et al.

Monumentally shit really, and very dull.

NormaStanleyFletcher Fri 07-Dec-12 23:42:30

Just think of the time that went into producing that though confused hmm

That is some amount of bitter

rosabud Sat 08-Dec-12 00:02:36

That's hilarious! Why is the Mumsnet person an Indian squaw though - what's that all about?? (Is it really obvious and I am being a bit dim..........confused )

NormaStanleyFletcher Sat 08-Dec-12 00:17:06

They are mad - that is the only reason I can think of

<<disclaimer - they may not be but they seem so to me>>

RiaUnderTheMistletoe Sat 08-Dec-12 00:20:43

Interesting that s&b, politics, the dog house and sleb twaddle are all perfectly valid on a parenting sight. Anyone might think we only had two sections, parenting stuff and FWR confused

SolidGoldFrankensteinandmurgh Sat 08-Dec-12 00:27:25

Oh dear, I couldn't resist logging into Youtube to piss on his chips...

NormaStanleyFletcher Sat 08-Dec-12 00:42:13

SGB - if yours is the sockpuppet comment you made me larf

SolidGoldFrankensteinandmurgh Sat 08-Dec-12 01:50:05

grin

CuriousMama Sat 08-Dec-12 01:56:39

That's been on ages hasn't it? I remember it being posted on here a while ago.

How odd for anyone man to take the time to do this? Very sad.

SantaIAmSoFuckingRock Sat 08-Dec-12 02:21:14

more importantly, why is the man an astronaut? confused

richardsimmonstanktop Sat 08-Dec-12 02:27:32

My goodness, that is a boring, bitter little scenario being played out there.

What did make me laugh though is the Facebook site mentioned in the comments:

www.facebook.com/MumsnetFascista

"Mumsnet is a neo-nazi organisation run by the wives of wealthy businessmen who support their stay-at-home layabout wives who spend their mornings going online, looking down on people and telling other people how they should be living their lives."

So accurate - there must be hidden cameras in my house or sommat.

Frans1980 Sat 08-Dec-12 02:58:09
rosabud Sat 08-Dec-12 08:30:06

Well I just assumed the astronaut was more kind of obvious - male explorer/leader/going into dangerous situation - the protective suit needed because he is going near toxic feminists - or, even, women are making men feel like aliens???? But the Indian squaw? I don't get that. I get the one in Frans' link, though, grey-haired, bun wearing, glasses, suit-clad old harridan. They didn't need to spend all that time doing the animation, really, they could have just put the picture of the grey-haired business suit wearer with a caption underneath it, "Beware any woman who does not have enormous knockers/is over the age of 30/likes reading - she will miserable, horrible and unreasonable and most likely won't have sex with you."

My first reaction is that this is funny, but looking at all those other videos also available on Youtube makes me sad, sad for these men, really, it must be awful to go through life so angry, bitter and unintellectually challenged.

VivaLeBeaver Sat 08-Dec-12 08:42:20

I couldn't be other end watching it all. Far too dull.

SamuraiCindy Sat 08-Dec-12 10:31:12

Beyond boring. Is it wrong to feel pity for men like that?

Heroine Sat 08-Dec-12 11:07:20

I liked the satire, it was OK as also a poke at what some men think of mumsnet.

I do think it would have been better if someone had said 'did you mean to come across as offensive, OP' grin

StNickHasHisXmasTeakozyOn Sat 08-Dec-12 11:11:29

Couldn't stomach more than a minute of that. What utter rubbish.

Heroine Sat 08-Dec-12 11:26:49
RowanMumsnet (MNHQ) Sat 08-Dec-12 16:02:13

Oh this is old <flaps hand nonchalantly>

<adjusts feather>

But thanks grin

scottishmummy Sat 08-Dec-12 16:12:05

lame, but amused hes got the huff
someone obviously gave him a skelping on mn
and hes still sore about it

SomeTiggyPudding Sat 08-Dec-12 16:21:10

That's hilarious! Using synthetic voices to do the arguments when that have no sense of timing or delivery is pure genius! I SO much want to see some Shakespeare done like that!

scottishmummy Sat 08-Dec-12 16:23:14

if theyd taken piss out of did you mean to be so rude
i would have agreed
its a wanky quip

BlameItOnTheChoirOfAngels Sat 08-Dec-12 16:35:09

scottishmummy Sat 08-Dec-12 16:38:11

aye clearly he got a pasting and now thinks we are all milly tants

BlameItOnTheChoirOfAngels Sat 08-Dec-12 16:39:40

oh yes. iirc he got a proper hammering. some men like their women wimpy compliant and simpery. mn really isnt the place for them.

scottishmummy Sat 08-Dec-12 16:45:11

now ive been involved in some riposte on mn.got and gave
hehe thats the point
wouldn't rush off and complain on youtube that mn gave me hard time

fallingandlaughing Sat 08-Dec-12 16:53:55

I don't think this man has a small penis as suggested in the clip.

I think he has a huge one. Hanging from the centre of his forehead.

Heroine Sat 08-Dec-12 18:37:26

Did you mean to be so condescending?
grin

ilovexmastime Sat 08-Dec-12 18:40:37

I'm embarrassed for him, I'd be mortified to show the whole world how bitter I was.

SolidGoldFrankensteinandmurgh Sat 08-Dec-12 21:34:52

Oh there's nothing like a bit of target practice when the MRA pop up...

Frans1980 Sat 08-Dec-12 23:15:12

"Oh there's nothing like a bit of target practice when the MRA pop up... "

So what do you have against men fighting for issues which affect men?

BlameItOnTheChoirOfAngels Sat 08-Dec-12 23:27:28

Has a claxon sounded?

Sunnywithachanceofshowers Sat 08-Dec-12 23:34:36

Frans they're not really fighting for the brotherhood, are they? They're slagging off MN, which isn't the same thing.

Softlysoftly Sat 08-Dec-12 23:39:20

Not to be offensive but how can anyone care so much about mumsnet that they get their knickers so ridiculously twisted confused

SolidGoldFrankensteinandmurgh Sun 09-Dec-12 09:17:40

Frans: Because MRAs are fighting to control and conquer women. Because they're so inadequate the only thing they have to be proud of is the possession of a willy even if it's a budgie's tongue and because they are so stupid that they are just begging for a good online mugging.

Sunnywithachanceofshowers Sun 09-Dec-12 11:06:50

MRAs don't like women having spaces where they can help each other, IMO.

SolidGoldFrankensteinandmurgh Sun 09-Dec-12 23:23:59

Ooh, the needledick had a tantrum after I mocked his video. He said I must be 'fat and ugly.' Gosh, isn't he original?

Sunnywithachanceofshowers Mon 10-Dec-12 09:34:35

Damn, I have half a bingo card left to fill in. He didn't say 'lesbian', 'dungarees' or 'hairy'.

TunipTheVegedude Mon 10-Dec-12 09:42:26

But one of the comments calls it LesbiansNet, will that do?

AnyFuckerForAMincePie Mon 10-Dec-12 09:54:24

Absolutely crying @ "budgie's tongue grin

Oh come now, do we have some kind of international obligation to be fine and searing all the time? Can't we just be dead childish when we want to? Especially when he started it.

ps Unlike yourself, SGB, I am fat and ugly. So where's my rich businessman then? I want one.

>>MRAs don't like women having spaces where they can help each other, IMO. <<

Would tend to agree.

I laughed at the patheticness of the video, but actually it is really cruel for that very reason. This kind of space is needed.
