This has been published today. I've not read it all yet (have a bunch of deadlines coming up in the next week) but one of the authors is Karen Ingala-Smith who curates the Counting Dead Women blog.

I'm very glad that this being reported and that they are highlighting the links between the cases. Male violence is an issue which needs to be addressed instead of each case being seen as an 'isolated incident'.

We are gas lighted by society and silenced when we name the problem, this is a valuable report.

I saw an article about this on buzzfeed (yes,i know) very interesting ...and tragic lets hope one day misogyny is seen as urgent as racism and homophobia..

Very well written report.

Lump in my throat seeing my friend in the dedications at the end.

Oh fuck, I hadn't checked. My friend's darling and much loved mother is in the dedications. It's nearly the anniversary of her murder.

There is a comment in the report that better training is required for the police, the CPS and the judiciary but what struck me is that it is the judiciary which is failing in passing sentences which adequately acknowledge and punish the crime.
